“I enjoy giving my clients a CUSTOMIZED and super effective voICE TRAINING from their HOME, hotel room, recording studio, tour bus, backstage or even on the road.”

“I’ve been a vocalist in a rock band for 15 years, it’s an extreme job, singing wise. So far I’ve never had any vocal coaching or lessons, I just completely made it up as I went along and never had any vocal health issues.

The problems came up when the band started getting traction and we began going on tour. With longer shows and further upcoming tour dates I always knew my voice’s limitations. After a certain amount of shows my voice would become unreliable. The anxiety this caused me was quite intense because I felt the weight of the band on my shoulders. If my voice suddenly wouldn’t work then parts of the tour would need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

I had to take action as I had no other choice, for my voice and my mind! At first I was quite sceptical, to be honest as I thought I knew my voice, and the way I was taking care of it was “doing the job”. I didn’t think I would be able to really see much improvement. How wrong I was. I completed a 6 week tour prep. course with Alexandra leading up to a tour of 9 shows, with various 3 shows back to back, and a day off in between each run. I was nervous as our shows are up to 1 hour 20 min. per night, and they are extremely energetic and require some big vocals. We started with 2 sessions a week at 30 minutes each, up until two weeks before the start of the tour when we went up to 60 min. sessions. It really took me a while to get my head around the exercises and to understand what my voice needed. We divided the sessions into vocal exercises and song application.

The vocal workouts were like preparing for a marathon or going to the gym and training parts of my body to undertake a huge athletic feat. After only a couple of sessions everything just started to feel better. My voice felt smoother, and it became easier to talk on a day to day basis. It felt like a “well oiled machine”, something I’d never experienced before. Obviously working out makes you feel better, but until I practiced with Alexandra’s exercises my voice had never felt even remotely so good! I was impressed by how effortless my voice felt, and over the next few weeks, with practice and exercising at home my voice just got stronger and stronger, easier to control and more powerful. At the same time I neither felt like I was using it to the limit nor it was degrading which resulted in my confidence coming back. I knew for a fact, with Alexandra’s daily routines on tour my voice wasn't even going to be an issue. I could relax and enjoy each show, trusting the next would be just “as killer”.

The other part of the vocal workouts was applying the technique to our songs. On one side you’re building up strength and resilience and on the other you are learning how to sing, achieve the same level of vocals required to “kill” your performance, without actually killing your voice! Vowel modification is especially a game changer! This helped me so much as I learned how to get across my power and commitment to the delivery without putting my vocal cords through hell! Suddenly I can sing these songs without screaming my head off and destroying my voice. I was blown away!

Without exaggeration I can tell that Alexandra’s coaching has absolutely transformed my singing career. My anxiety has cleared, my confidence is back and my performances are better than ever. I really cannot recommend what she does highly enough. She teaches in a fashion easy to follow and understand. Her devotion to her clients outside of the sessions is exceptional. I could contact her at any moment on tour for advice and help in case I needed it. She is “the real deal” for any touring artist and I am extremely grateful for her coaching and help.” - Baz, Frontman of Rock Band Massive Wagons, Lancaster, England, U.K.

“I barely had any vocal lessons before we went on our first tour in March 2023 and supported the band Rhonda for almost three weeks. I had a lot of respect towards the idea of performing every night - so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to rely on my voice.

So a few weeks before the tour started, I took vocal lessons with vocal coach Alexandra Pengler. It was the first time someone had actively worked with me on my voice - it was a really interesting process and helped me a lot. I gained a great awareness of my voice and how it "should and can" feel when singing.

I also learned that my vocal health is strongly related to my mental state - and that many vocal problems are ultimately based on false beliefs that only take place in our heads.

Our new single “Black Swarms” is the first song I recorded after taking vocal lessons. Maybe you can hear a difference?” - Ronja Pöhlmann, Lead Singer of Amber & the Moon, Indie-Folk Band, Hamburg, Germany.

“It was my distinct pleasure and pure luck to have been invited to a Wine / Yoga retreat in Montalcino, Italy five years ago. I had no clue how the two could possibly work together, but I was game!

During that retreat, I met some of the most interesting and talented group of people. The one person who stood out and I still have a bond with today was Miss Alexandra Pengler. Not only did we bond over our love of music, but both of us being Scorpio women did not hurt!

After a yoga session, Alexandra gave us a vocal workshop. Although it was not mandatory, every single person stayed for the workshop as we were all intrigued with being led by someone who we all had heard sing during one of our dinners where we were all struck by her talent and joy that literally radiated in the room. In that workshop, we were amazed at the skill-set and wealth of knowledge as we all worked through vocal exercises and different breathing techniques to optimize the use of our voices - what she did improved ALL of our voices and we were just amazed and astounded at how by following her lead, it became such a special occasion of exploration - we were all so happy we participated.

Not only is her talent something very special, her demeanor with people is something that I found to be very sincere and charming as well. When you love what you do (and clearly she does), it radiates positivity and in the end, leaves you in a better mood just by being in her presence.

I run a company that involves producing creative materials for the music industry, so I know a thing or two about how important all the above can be from the ground up in this industry. Alexandra is a true professional and such a positive influence in every sense of the word. I put her at the top of the list of people who I would recommend to help with any vocal issues or learning and improving on the craft of utilizing your voice for the beauty of music. She literally pours her heart and soul into her craft and it shows. What a beautiful gift to have!” -Debby "Fergy" Ferguson | President/CEO | TourDesign Creative, Indianapolis, Indiana, Los Angeles, California, USA.

As an actor, presenter and singer, I work very intensively with my voice and train it regularly, as it is one of the most important tools for all my professions. I always have to be able to rely 100% on my voice and my body - even in stressful situations.

Although I have already acquired a lot of knowledge about voice training in recent years, Alexandra has opened my eyes and ears with her profound knowledge and exercises - what a difference! I am very grateful to work with her and look forward to the next training session.

As I am travelling worldwide in the movie industry, it is a big advantage to be able to train my voice online with Alexandra. Be it for warming up my voice or practicing speaking exercises before recordings on set or in the studio. During the relaxation exercises you can also notice her professional yoga background. You immediately feel Alexandra's international experience - she is super professional and at the same time mega nice and fun to work with.” - Lenn Kudrjawizki (ARD Croatia Crime Inspector, The Vikings Amazon Series, acts internationally with stars like Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley, Jude Law Helen Hunt, John Goodman…), CEO LEGRAIN Productions, Berlin, Germany.

“As a past client, I warmly recommend Alexandra Pengler to the singers I manage in our artist program. Since I began working with her, Alex has become an expert in her field and travels internationally.

Alexandra is an extremely talented and gifted singer who knows how to pass on her knowledge to her clients and get the best out of them without changing the authenticity of the voice color. She describes the voice and vocal cords as an instrument that needs to be tuned. In her coaching, she teaches the tools to prepare and optimize the voice for any kind of performance.

She also pays great attention to vocal health. When she hears that there might be an issue with the voice, she handles it very responsibly and, when necessary, recommends a check-up by an ENT specialist before she continues working on the voice.

In addition to her broad and deep expertise at an international level (including education and training in the US), Alexandra is also an extremely lovable, cheerful and sympathetic person who you can trust completely and with whom it is a lot of fun to work on the voice.

Mika Setzer and Jasmin Abraha, both under contract in our management, have enjoyed working with Alexandra from the very first lesson. Every performance I can observe how their vocal problems disappear and singing becomes easier.

I am super satisfied and happy that we have Alexandra as a vocal coach on board for our artists. I highly recommend Alex to anyone who works professionally with their voice and wants to get the best out of it in the long run without straining it or possibly damaging it!” - Shelsea Bruehl, Global Product Manager, SDM GmbH & Co.
